This also helps create a sort of cushion when sanding so you don’t have to apply too much pressure when using them. When sliding a new grit sleeve on to the drum you can tighten or loosen the nut on the drum to expand or contract the drum for just the right fit. You can use these drums with a drill press, but you can also use them on a hand drill or even a flexible shaft attached to a drill press. This gives you the ability to use these drums in a great variety of situations. The set comes in a pre-formed plastic case to help keep the drums and sleeves organized and easily identifiable.
